YOGA NIDRA - 14 minutes

 
 

Nidra is the Yogic word for sleep, though this exercise requires you not to fall asleep but find the space between inactivity and deep rest. It is a scan of the entire body, bringing awareness of each body part and relaxing it fully to create peace and relaxation in the whole system for more a balanced day.

My experience: A wonderful full body and brain reset. If you’re like me and napping makes you groggy, this deep rest while staying awake is incredibly refreshing. A quick and needed break between meetings or daily tasks.

My suggestion: once daily (I do mine after lunch), also to prepare for bed.
